HISTORY

In 1974, we started a concrete construction business, and by 1983 we had begun to develop into a swimming pool business with our first retail location in Wilmington. By 1989, we were totally out of the concrete business and we were building inground pools, while supplying chemicals, parts, and services to the area. With the help of our family and everyone that worked with us, our business grew. In July of 1992, DesRochers Backyard Pools, Inc. was formed, and by 1998 we opened our third store in Shorewood, Illinois.

It's not surprising that DesRochers Backyard Pools, Inc. is highly sought after by homeowners, resulting in one of the fastest growing, custom Fiberglass Swimming Pool and Inground Vinyl Liner Swimming Pool Builders and Hot Tub dealers in the Joliet, Will, Kane, Grundy, and Kankakee County Areas.

DesRochers Backyard Pools, Inc. is a family owned and operated business, a member of the Better Business Bureau. We employ a builder who has earned a Civil Engineering degree from Purdue University, and we have been providing quality service in Northern Illinois since 1980.
