About VISCON CONSTRUCTION, INC.
In 1983, I, David Vinson, was layed off from my job as the purchasing agent for Nipak.
I always loved being out side and working with my hands so I went to work for a small pool company that had only been in business a short time and they were soon to close their business so I decided to start my own company building viinyl liner pools. I bought a house on 2nd avenue and opened one end up as an office/store.
I married my wife Yvonne in 1985 and she and I worked hard together to build the business. We did grow and relocated the business to 116 West Collin St. in 1988 where we began our water testing lab and added more chemicals and spas.
Downtown proved to be a great location but parking was a problem so in 1997 we bought the building we are currently located in at 218 North Main St. and have much more space to offer more of a variety to our customers. Our customers have been our greatest enjoyment over the years.
We love meeting new people and getting to know them and helping to make their life as a pool owner very worry free and enjoyable. We feel our business has been successful because of our honesty and integrity.
We want all our customers to LIVE THEIR DREAM.
