What about payments?
Most builders collect payments as each of the various stages of construction are completed. With an in-ground concrete pool there are six stages and thus six scheduled payments. Payments are usually required at completion of these phases: excavation, steel installation, gunite, tile, decking and completion. Keep in mind that state laws vary, but many states limit how much, if any, money can be collected from the homeowner before construction begins.
